WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. (AP) - Six cars representing different eras of competition at Syracuse’s Moody Mile will be on display Saturday at the International Motor Racing Research Center in Watkins Glen.

Among the cars to be featured will be a 1934 Ford five-window coupe and Gary Balough’s 1980 Batmobile.

The Batmobile will remain on display at the center through the end of the year.

The Moody Mile was a one-mile dirt track at the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse. It hosted car races from 1903 until last month and was considered to be the second- or third- oldest racetrack in the country.

State and county officials have a $50 million plan to replace the track and its main grandstand with an equestrian complex, hockey facility and RV park.
