PLYMOUTH, N.H. (AP) - Plymouth State University is officially opening a new building it hopes will transform the campus.

The $32 million academic and athletics center is called “ALLWell” North and promotes active living, learning and wellness. It includes 108,000 square feet of classroom and activity space, and represents the second of a four-phase, multi-year project. The first phase, ALLWell North, included a new ice arena and welcome center. The second phase includes a field house, outdoor center, classrooms, center for active living and health communities, adventure education classrooms, a multi-use track and an indoor ropes course.

Officials are discussing the project’s impact at a grand opening event Saturday.
