BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) - A vigil is planned in Burlington in response to the attacks in Paris that killed at least 127 people.

The Alliance Francaise of the Lake Champlain Region is hosting the vigil at 4:15 p.m. on Saturday at 43 King Street.

The shootings at Paris cafes, suicide bombings near France’s national stadium and a hostage-taking inside a concert hall were the deadliest attacks on France since World War II.

French President Francois Hollande has vowed to attack the Islamic State group without mercy as the jihadist group admitted responsibility Saturday for the attacks.
