CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - State officials want to know what the arts mean to West Virginians.

The West Virginia Division of Culture and History’s Arts Section and the West Virginia Commission on the Arts are inviting the public to a meeting to answer that question. The public arts discussion will be held Nov. 20 at Tamarack in Beckley.

The Division of Culture and History says both individuals and arts organizations can speak at the meeting. Speakers will be heard on a first come, first served bases and each will have 10 minutes to speak.
