SAN ANTONIO (AP) - Sam Burmeister scored 15 points, grabbed six rebounds, and had four assists and four steals to help lead Incarnate Word past Schreiner 73-49 on Monday night.

Burmeister was 6-for-10 shooting from the floor and opened the game with a 3-pointer.

Jontrell Walker and Mitchell Badillo scored 12 points apiece and Kyle Hittle added 10. Badillo and Hittle also had four steals each and Incarnate Word (2-0) had 16 steals in the game.

Leading 37-25 at the half, the Cardinals used a 16-2 run in which Badillo scored 6 points to pull away from the Mountaineers.

The Division III Mountaineers played all 19 members of their roster and saw 13 players score. Christian Pena led Schreiner with seven points and nine rebounds.

Schreiner outrebounded the Cardinals 40-37, with Phillip Kee and Pena grabbing nine apiece.
