BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - Authorities have issued an arrest warrant for a Bismarck man accused of shooting two cats with arrows.

Thirty-six-year-old Kristofer Gilliam is wanted on two felony counts of animal cruelty. He could face up to 10 years in prison if convicted. Court documents do not list an attorney for him, and a working home telephone number for him couldn’t be found.

The Bismarck Tribune reports (https://bit.ly/1l22sVc ) that Gilliam lives next to a woman who reported finding two cats shot with arrows on Nov. 7. Officers went to Gilliam’s home three days later, but no one answered the door.

It’s not clear who owned the cats.
