DOVER, Del. (AP) - A Dover woman has been arrested after police say she hid a bag of drugs under her neighbor’s home.

Troopers arrested 24-year-old Emily Romero on Saturday on charges which include possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia.

Police say neighbors called authorities, saying she put a bag behind the weather skirting of their home. When troopers arrived, they say they found a plastic bag with 21 hypodermic needles and 1,311 bags of heroin weighing 19.665 grams.

Police say Romero wanted to hide the items from her parole officers.

She was arraigned and is being held at the Delores J. Baylor Women’s Correctional Institution on bond.

It isn’t immediately clear if she has an attorney.
