WEST BEND, Wis. (AP) - A West Bend couple woke to a frightening surprise over the weekend.

Washington County sheriff’s officials say they found an intoxicated intruder sleeping on their couch. The 36-year-old man told deputies he had no idea how he got into the locked house. Investigators concluded he must have entered through a dog door. The Journal Sentinel (https://bit.ly/1Q2bIpk ) reports the man told authorities he had been drinking in Milwaukee and parked his car on Pioneer Rd. in West Bend.
