HAMILTON, Mass. (AP) - Authorities say the 2-year-old Massachusetts girl who was found sitting nude by the side of a road with her head shaved has been released from the hospital.

The toddler’s former baby sitter faces charges including kidnapping and assault and battery on a child.

Lyndon Albers was reported missing from her home Friday morning and found alone hours later, about seven miles away.

She was taken to Boston Children’s Hospital for evaluation.

The Essex District Attorney’s Office said Sunday the toddler had been released from the hospital.

The office says 21-year-old Abigail Hanna will be arraigned Monday in Newburyport District Court for the alleged abduction.

Hanna was held without bail.

It wasn’t immediately known if Hanna, a resident of nearby Topsfield, has legal representation.
