BALTIMORE (AP) - Baltimore police say a man impersonating a police officer robbed a woman at gunpoint and snatched her purse.

Police say officers were called to the 3000 block of Gwynns Falls Parkway on Saturday afternoon for a report of an armed robbery. When the officers arrived a woman at the scene told them she was sitting in her parked car when a man with a badge around his neck knocked on her window and asked for her driver’s license. The woman told investigators that she thought he was a police officer and rolled down her window. The man then brandished a handgun and demanded her purse before driving away in a green Honda.

Police are still searching for a suspect, and the incident is under investigation.
