HOUSTON (AP) - A fourth man has pleaded guilty in an armed robbery ring blamed for more than 30 holdups in the Houston area during January.

Jerrol Bluford pleaded guilty Monday to conspiracy to interference with commerce by robbery and two counts of brandishing a weapon during a commercial robbery. Bluford faces more than 50 years in federal prison when he’s sentenced in February.

Three other suspects earlier pleaded guilty to the same counts and also await sentencing.

Investigators say the men, between Jan. 9 and Jan. 25, robbed 31 establishments including restaurants, stores and phone companies.

During each holdup at least one of the robbers had a gun and threatened store employees and customers.
