AUTHORITIES: FLORIDA OFFICER SHOOTS MAN WHO SPOOKED BANK EMPLOYEES, WAS ACTING SUSPICIOUSLY

Employees at a Fifth Third Bank in Belleair called police Monday and reported a man entered the branch with a bulge in his pocket. Belleair Police Chief Bill Sohl later identified the man as 28-year-old Jamaal Bishop. He says Bishop left the Tampa area bank, and a Pinellas County sheriff’s deputy and a Belleair police officer spotted him.

Media outlets report the Phi Gamma Delta held a formal event at the Bahia Mar hotel in Fort Lauderdale earlier this month. Kellie Fullilove, a 19-year old nursing student, was found dead in a room the next morning.

The gunman was identified in a news release as 70-year-old Steven Eugene Reynolds of Dade City, Florida. Hillsborough County Sheriff’s deputies said Reynolds shot 41-year-old Alonna Tedesco on the third floor of Florida Hospital, north of downtown Tampa

2-YEAR-OLD GIRL’S DEATH INVESTIGATED AS HOMICIDE; NO CHARGES FILED

The Broward Sheriff’s Office reported in a news release Monday that an autopsy determined 2-year-old Za’mya Williams’ death last week appears to be a homicide.
