ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - Albuquerque police say a man was arrested in the death of a woman whose injuries were initially reported as being caused by a fall.

Officer Fred Duran says police went to a residence Saturday night and found the woman with injuries that appeared to be more severe than a fall would have caused.

She died later at a hospital and Duran says a man who was at the home was arrested in the incident.

Duran says police learned the two were involved in a domestic relationship and had domestic violence incidents in the past.

Identities were not immediately released.
