OGDEN, Utah (AP) - The remains of a person found on Ben Lomond Mountain as suspected to belong to a St. George man who went missing in 2014.

The Weber County Sheriff’s office says a hiker found the decomposing body Saturday in an isolated, rocky area. Some clothing and personal items were found with the body, including Joshua Easley’s wallet and identification.

The body was taken to the Utah State Medical Examiner’s Office where officials will attempt to confirm the identity and the cause of death.

Easley disappeared in April 2014. His car was found at a trailhead in North Ogden.
