PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Authorities are trying to find out what sparked a fast-moving blaze that damaged two homes in north Philadelphia and displaced nearly a dozen people.

It broke out around 5:30 p.m. Sunday in the Tioga section of the city. Fire officials say the blaze started in one rowhouse and quickly spread to the second.

It took firefighters less than an hour to control the fire. No one was hurt.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
