PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - Gas prices in Rhode Island have fallen again and are down to an average of $2.13 per gallon for regular unleaded.

A weekly survey conducted by AAA Northeast on Monday finds the average price of a gallon of regular unleaded fell 3 cents from last week.

The Rhode Island average is 4 cents lower than a month ago, but 6 cents more than the national average of $2.07 per gallon.

It’s 82 cents lower than at this same time last year, when the average price was $2.95 per gallon.

AAA says prices are expected to continue to fall as the year ends.

AAA found that self-serve, regular gas is now selling for as low as $1.99 per gallon and as high as $2.29.
