ROSLYN HEIGHTS, N.Y. (AP) - Long Island police say a man who arranged to purchase a car he had seen on Craigslist was robbed at gunpoint by two men after arriving at the location.

When the 36-year-old man showed up at the Roslyn Heights location, he was approached by the suspects.

Nassau County police say while the first man distracted the victim, the second man pointed a handgun at him and demanded cash.

Police say the gunman then struck the victim in the head with the gun and removed an undetermined amount of cash, a cellphone and wallet from the victim.

The two suspects then fled.

The victim refused medical attention.

Police say it happened on Saturday around 6:20 p.m.
