PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Philadelphia’s district attorney says training in respect and workplace civility has benefited three staff prosecutors who were involved in a circle that exchanged sexually explicit and raunchy emails while working for the state attorney general’s office.

The daylong training Friday came a day after nine members of City Council signed a resolution urging District Attorney Seth Williams to fire the three men, Frank Fina, Patrick Blessington and Marc Costanzo.

Williams says the men are great prosecutors who have learned from their mistake.

Attorney General Kathleen Kane released the emails and accused Fina and Costanzo of concocting an investigation into her last year because she was threatening to publicize them.

Fina and Costanzo sued Kane and accused her of illegally using her office to retaliate against them.
