PITTSBURGH (AP) - A police chase has ended in a crash, injuring five people.

Pittsburgh police were about to stop a vehicle Sunday evening that they say may have been stolen when the driver took off, leading them on a chase.

The pursuit lasted for about five minutes before police say the vehicle crashed into another vehicle.

Police say three people in the vehicle they were pursuing were injured. Two people in the other vehicle also were hurt. They all were taken to area hospitals. Their names were not immediately released.

No charges have been filed. Police continue to investigate.
