MANCHESTER, Pa. (AP) - Police in York County are looking for a man who they say opened fire during a traffic stop.

Police say 24-year-old Trev Jackson of York City left his driver’s license behind as he drove off on Sunday night.

Police say a Northern York County Regional Police Department officer had stopped Jackson for suspicion of driving under the influence in a shopping center parking lot when Jackson pulled out a gun and opened fire.

The officer returned fire as Jackson sped away.

The officer was not wounded.

Jackson will face criminal attempted homicide, aggravated assault and endangerment charges after he is arrested.
