BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - A second woman has been arrested in connection to an armed robbery of six sleeping men.

The Advocate (https://bit.ly/1LuUKZ5 ) reports 24-year-old Ashley Wiggins was arrested Sunday on counts including armed robbery and aggravated battery.

An East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office report says Wiggins and 25-year-old Melissa Taylor entered a home on Sept. 27 with revolvers and trailed by three or four unidentified men carrying assault-style weapons.

Deputies say Taylor and Wiggins directed the men to take the wallets, money and cellphones of the six sleeping victims - several of whom were hit in the head with rifle stocks.

The report states at least three victims had large lacerations on their heads and were bleeding profusely.

Taylor was arrested Oct 8.

It isn’t immediately clear of Taylor and Wiggins have attorneys.
