WINDSOR, Vt. (AP) - Vermont’s Windsor County is holding a Driver Restoration Day next for month for people who have had their license suspended for failing to pay traffic tickets.

They will be eligible to pay $25 per ticket to get their driving privileges reinstated.

It’s scheduled for Dec. 11.

The event was launched in Chittenden County and assisted over 1,200 residents of Chittenden, Lamoille, Franklin, Grand Isle and Washington counties.

Over 6,700 tickets were reduced and the state collected almost $150,000.
