EASTPORT, Maine (AP) - The Maine Marine Patrol is still searching for a man who has been missing since his canoe capsized between Eastport and Pleasant Point.

Twenty-three-year-old Majik Francis of Pleasant Point was in a canoe that capsized in Half Moon Bay shortly after noon on Sunday. Two other people in the canoe made it to shore and called for help.

The Portland Press Herald (https://bit.ly/1NNpI0y ) reports the Coast Guard started a search on Sunday that lasted nearly 24 hours and covered 193 square miles. A spokesman for the Maine Marine Patrol says the agency is searching on Tuesday via water, land and air.
