BETHLEHEM, Pa. (AP) - A northeastern Pennsylvania man is accused of forcing a woman to drink almost a whole bottle of vodka until she passed out and then assaulting her when she came to.

The (Allentown) Morning Call says (https://bit.ly/1I8UEvB ) Loren Naylor is accused of grabbing the victim by the face, tilting her head back and pouring the liquor into her mouth. Court records show the victim says she lost consciousness and when she awoke Naylor was punching and choking her.

A witness verified the victim’s story to police.

Police say they observed bruises and scratches all over the woman’s body.

Naylor is charged with terroristic threats, simple assault and harassment. He was arraigned Tuesday and sent to prison under $15,000 bail. Court documents do not list the name of an attorney who could comment on the charges.
