PHILIPSTOWN, N.Y. (AP) - Officials say a 58-year-old suburban New York man was killed after he got pinned under a forklift he was working on.

The Journal News reports (https://lohud.us/1kReSzR ) that Joseph Gaichinta was serving the vehicle at his business in Philipstown when the lift system failed, causing the forklift to fall on him.

Authorities say an employee found Gaichinta dead just before 11 a.m. Sunday.

An autopsy has been scheduled.
