SPRINGFIELD, Ore. (AP) - An Oregon woman is looking for six missing cats after her trailer was burned down.

The Register-Guard reports (https://bit.ly/1XoILDo ) that Norma King stepped out of her trailer at the Springfield Mobile Home Park just before it went up in flames Sunday morning.

King runs the Springfield Stray Cat Alliance, a nonprofit organization spays or neuters feral cats and then releases or adopts them. She says six of the cats are missing, two were rescued when she gave them mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and one died in her arms.

She says lost everything, but her first priority is to find the six missing cats and make sure they are not burned or hurt.

Officials haven’t said how the fire might have started. Recently, other trailers in the same park were destroyed in a fire officials said was suspicious.
