PIERRE PART, La. (AP) - Assumption Parish sheriff’s deputies say a 32-year-old Pierre Part woman is accused of scamming people through an online store.

Sheriff Mike Waguespack tells The Courier (https://bit.ly/1kRoISn) Latisha Landry was booked Sunday with 49 counts of credit card fraud. Landry is being held in the parish jail, but her bond has not been set.

Waguespack says Landry ran a store called Elite Boutique on Facebook.

He says the investigation, which began Nov. 3, has so far revealed that people from six states never received items they purchased through the page.

Online jail records do not list an attorney for Landry.
