RENO, Nev. (AP) - Reno authorities say a man has been arrested in connection to a small fire at the Grand Sierra Resort.

Officials say the man is in custody and accused of starting the fire Monday and attempting to disable the resort’s sprinkler system.

The Secret Service is involved in the investigation, as Democrat presidential hopeful Hillary Rodham Clinton was staying at the resort at the time of the fire. Officials say they do not believe the suspect was targeting Clinton.

The suspect was arrested on investigation of arson and attempting to disable a sprinkler system.

The fire caused only minor damage, but fire sprinklers were activated in some rooms, leading to some water damage.
