JAMESTOWN, N.D. (AP) - The North Dakota Highway Patrol says a woman is dead after the vehicle she was driving rolled on a frost-covered roadway.

The incident happened around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday on Highway 20, six miles north of Jamestown. Authorities did not immediately identify the driver and a female passenger who survived the crash.

The Highway Patrol says the driver lost control of the vehicle while negotiating a curve and her sport utility vehicle entered the ditch and rolled. Both women were transported to a hospital, where the driver died.

An incident report shows the driver was not wearing a seatbelt.

The Highway Patrol says the incident remains under investigation.
