WILLISTON, N.D. (AP) - Two Williston men accused of assaulting a woman are facing multiple charges.

The Bismarck Tribune (https://bit.ly/1QIyrXZ ) reports 21-year-old Jean-Michael Kisi and 22-year-old David Mbulu were charged Wednesday with criminal conspiracy to commit gross sexual imposition, conspiracy to commit murder and being an accomplice to attempted murder.

Kisi is also charged with gross sexual imposition, while Mbulu also faces an attempted murder charge.

Williams County sheriff’s deputies on Friday found the 24-year-old woman covered in blood, walking along a road near Epping. She was eventually airlifted to Minot due to the severity of her injuries.

The woman told deputies she was traveling with the men in a vehicle when an argument ensued and she was assaulted.

Court records don’t list defense attorneys who could comment on the men’s behalf.
