APACHE JUNCTION, Ariz. (AP) - An Apache Junction man has been arrested on a warrant stemming from a case in which he pleaded guilty to contracting without a license.

Pinal County Sheriff’s officials say 63-year-old Joseph Larned was taken into custody Monday.

He’s being held in the county jail on a $5,130 cash bond and it was unclear Wednesday if Larned has a lawyer yet.

The Arizona Registrar of Contractors says it received a complaint against Larned in January.

Investigators found Larned was doing plumbing jobs by using an ROC number from a previous employer and he had no current or prior contracting licenses.

Authorities say a plea agreement was reached in May. An arrest warrant was issued for Larned on Sept. 9 after he reportedly failed to appear in court for the second time.
