YPSILANTI, Mich. (AP) - James Thompson IV had 32 points with 13 rebounds and Eastern Michigan rolled to a 108-64 victory over NAIA Marygrove College on Wednesday.

Thompson scored 27 points in the first half and finished on 13-of-14 shooting. Brandon Nazione and Willie Mangum added 17 points apiece for Eastern Michigan (3-2), which bounced back after losing 89-65 against Michigan State on Nov. 23.

Ethan Alvano added 13 points and Tim Bond nine points with a career-high nine assists for the Eagles.

Isaac Gillum scored 18 points and Nate Taylor added 14 to lead Marygrove. Kenneth Miller added four points with eight assists.

Alvano made a layup to break a 21-all tie and spark a 20-13 surge to give the Eagles a 51-34 halftime lead. Eastern Michigan opened the second half on a 15-2 run and cruised from there. Nazione scored eight points with two dunks during the span.
