CURRYVILLE, Pa. (AP) - State police say they’re investigating a vehicle chase and crash that killed the wife of the driver they were pursuing in central Pennsylvania.

Jessica Ross was thrown from the vehicle and killed when it crashed and rolled Friday while her husband, 25-year-old Skylar Ross, of Martinsburg, was being chased.

Police say they won’t decide whether to charge Ross in his wife’s death until an investigation into the chase is finished.

Police say they spotted Ross’ vehicle and gave chase after residents in North Woodbury Township called to complain about the way the car was being driven.

Trooper David McGarvey says Ross was speeding before crashing. The couple wasn’t wearing seatbelts and their infant, also in the car, wasn’t in a car seat.

The baby girl is being treated for “major injuries” at UPMC Altoona.
