SHREVEPORT, La. (AP) - Dwan Gilliom, who was hired to take over Shreveport’s public works department several months ago, has resigned with less than four months on the job.

The Times reports (https://bit.ly/1Ogpy6e) Africa Price, the city’s spokeswoman, confirmed Gilliom’s resignation on Tuesday.

Gilliom began working as public works director for the city of Shreveport Aug 3.

Price said he is leaving for personal reasons.
