STRATHAM, N.H. (AP) - Some animal shelters are using Black Friday as a chance for people to visit and adopt a pet.

The New Hampshire SPCA in Stratham says it hopes to have record-breaking Black Friday, to find homes for over 50 animals, including dogs, kittens, bunnies, birds, and horses.

The shelter is offering door buster specials in the morning with a discount on adoption fees for kittens. Those seeking to adopt can pick their own price on all adult animals.
