ARDMORE, Okla. (AP) - Authorities say human remains found in a shallow grave in Carter County in July belong to a woman who was reported missing in January.

The Oklahoma Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim as 42-year-old Tina Sisk-Gavach. Authorities have not yet released a cause of death, but Ardmore police detective Matt Dunn says the remains were discovered in a “shallow, handmade grave.”

The Daily Ardmoreite reports (https://bit.ly/1HqF1zq ) that Sisk-Gavach was reported missing in January but had apparently disappeared months earlier. Her body was discovered in July on property in Lone Grove.

The investigation into the death is ongoing.
