MOUNT HOLLY, N.J. (AP) - Authorities say a convenience store clerk has died after being shot in the store’s parking lot.

But it’s still not clear what sparked the shooting of 32-year-old Matthew Mwinsori, which was reported around 8:20 p.m. Wednesday.

Burlington County prosecutors say the gunman entered the Willingboro Township store and was inside for just a short time before he and Mwinsori walked into the parking lot. Police responding to reports of shots fired soon found the Willingboro man wounded in the nearby street.

Mwinsori was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

No arrests have been made.
