BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - A longtime North Dakota Parks and Recreation Department employee is the new manager at Turtle River State Park.

Larry Hagen has been named to replace Steve Crandall, who recently retired. Hagen has been the manager of Lake Metigoshe State Park since 1992.

Hagen first began working for parks and recreation as a seasonal employee in 1978. He has held full-time positions in five North Dakota parks.

Hagen is originally from Fargo. He has a bachelor of science degree from North Dakota State University.
