LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Little Rock police say a man has died several days after he was struck by a vehicle following a fight.

Police say officers responded to a large fight on South Pierce Street on Saturday night. Once there, officers discovered 26-year-old Brandon Joyner lying in the middle of the street. Joyner was taken to a Little Rock hospital, and police Lt. Steve McClanahan says Joyner died from his injuries Wednesday night.

A witness told police that Joyner was struck twice by a car whose driver then fled.

McClanahan says Joyner’s death is Little Rock’s 27th homicide of the year. No arrests have been made.
