BRISTOL, Conn. (AP) - Police say they’ve made an arrest in connection with a hit-and-run in Bristol that left two pedestrians injured.

Police say the pedestrians were struck Thursday evening while they were trying to cross a street. They were taken to a hospital. Police have not released their names, and their conditions were not immediately available.

Police later arrested the driver of the suspected vehicle involved. There’s no word on any charges. Police have not released that person’s name. They continue to investigate.
