COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - Before their teams face off on the gridiron this weekend, Clemson and South Carolina fans are teaming up for a good cause.

The Rivalry Run is taking place Friday morning in downtown Columbia. Proceeds from the 5K race benefit the Frye Foundation, an organization started by South Carolina track and field coach Curtis Frye to help people struggling with diabetes.

Registration for the race includes custom T-shirts in Gamecock garnet or Clemson orange. South Carolina and Clemson play their annual rivalry matchup on Saturday in Columbia.
