BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - The public is getting a chance to weigh in on designs for a new $5 million home for North Dakota’s first family.

Three options will be presented for public input at 1 p.m. Monday at the state Capitol.

A committee is seeking to raise $1 million in private donations for the new governor’s residence.

The Legislature in April approved construction of a new governor’s home, stipulating that 20 percent of its cost must be funded by private donations.
