LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas State Police say a Little Rock man was killed when he crashed into an oncoming vehicle while driving in the wrong lane of Interstate 440 on Thanksgiving.

State police say the wreck happened Thursday night on I-440 about a mile away from the exit for the Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport. According to a preliminary report, 45-year-old John Collins was driving the wrong direction in the eastbound lanes when he crashed head-on into an oncoming vehicle.

State police say Collins was killed in the collision. The two occupants of the other vehicle were injured and taken to a Little Rock hospital.

State police say road conditions were clear and dry at the time of the crash.
