MILFORD, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police say a woman was hurt when the SUV she was driving rear-ended a school bus in Milford.

It happened about 6:45 a.m. Tuesday on Old Shawnee Road. Troopers say 47-year-old Wendy Lewis of Milford was driving a Chevy Tahoe southbound when a school bus ahead of her slowed down to pick up students.

Police say Lewis rear-ended the school bus. She was taken to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers say neither the bus driver, 27-year-old Chelsea Carr of Milford, nor the only student on the bus was hurt.

Lewis was cited for inattentive driving and no seatbelt.
