NEWARK, Del. (AP) - Natural Resources Police have charged two men they say were spotlighting deer from a boat.

Officers were called to Christina River near Churchman’s Marsh Pond near Newark Friday night and arrested two men.

Thirty-two-year-old Terence Khan and 55-year-old Chris Shiwpal, both of Newark, were each charged with carrying a loaded firearm in a motor vessel, spotlighting and numerous other hunting-related offenses.

The men were released on unsecured bond.
