KENOSHA, Wis. (AP) - A Kenosha County homicide suspect who eluded capture for nearly two weeks is back in Wisconsin.

The Kenosha County Sheriff’s Office says 32-year-old Andrew Obregon appeared in an Illinois court Tuesday and waived extradition. Deputies then brought Obregon to the Kenosha County Jail. He’s scheduled to appear in court Wednesday.

Authorities say Obregon is a suspect in the September killing of 37-year-old Tywon Anderson and was wanted for an armed robbery, a burglary and several auto thefts.

Obregon was the subject of a manhunt until he was caught Oct. 13 in Winthrop Harbor, Illinois. The Kenosha News (https://bit.ly/1RQpnNK ) reports he had been jailed in Waukegan, Illinois, since his arrest.
