SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (AP) - Police are investigating after an 18-year-old man was fatally shot in Springfield.
Isaiah Emanuel was pronounced dead Sunday morning after police say he was shot in the city’s Forest Park neighborhood.
Sgt. John Delaney says Emanuel was with a group of friends that had just left a party and allegedly started jumping on cars, damaging nine of them. Delaney says a car approached the group, words were exchanged and someone opened fire before the car fled the scene.
No arrests have been reported.
