CASA GRANDE, Ariz. (AP) - A man has been arrested in Casa Grande for allegedly shooting a teenage girl in the foot.

Casa Grande police say 22-year-old Timothy Zazueta was booked into the Pinal County Adult Detention Center.

They say he’s facing possible charges of aggravated assault with a weapon, unlawful discharge of a weapon and endangerment.

Police went to the Palm View Apartments around 9 p.m. Monday and found a 15-year-old girl with a gunshot wound to her left foot.

The unidentified teen was treated at a hospital and released.

Police say Zazueta was involved in an altercation in the apartment complex’s parking lot and fired two shots into the air.

While Zazueta was trying to hide the handgun inside the apartment, witnesses say he fired another shot. That one struck the teen’s foot.
