WALL, N.J. (AP) - Authorities are trying to figure out how to capture two wayward goats near the Garden State Parkway in a New Jersey shore community.

The Asbury Park Press reports (https://on.app.com/1Hp0uDg ) rescuers with the Associated Humane Societies of New Jersey have tried unsuccessfully for about a month to collar the goats near Exit 100 in Wall Township. They fear the skittish animals will run onto the highway and are urging the public to stay away from them.

It is unclear how the goats wandered on the scene. Though someone apparently owns them, officials say there have been no reports of missing goats.

Rescuers are considering putting out a feeding station so the animals will return to the same spot.
