NEW BRIGHTON, Minn. (AP) - Authorities say a body recovered from a New Brighton lake is that of a missing Mounds View man.

The Ramsey County medical examiner’s office Tuesday confirmed the identity as 32-year-old Henry McCabe.

Police say McCabe’s death is not considered suspicious, but the cause of death is still undetermined.

New Brighton police say officers responded to Rush Lake around 4:30 p.m. Monday after a kayaker reported seeing a body in the water.

McCabe’s older brother, Timothy Borbor, tells KARE-TV (https://kare11.tv/1LOVdJo ) McCabe’s family “may never know” what happened to him.

McCabe was last seen Sept. 6 at a nightclub in Spring Lake Park. Last month, searchers looking for McCabe checked nearby areas of New Brighton, including Creekview Park, where the last call was placed from his cellphone.

The case remains under investigation.
